Foot and Ankle/Lower Leg Pain

The ankle is formed by three bones, the tibia, fibula and the talus. There are also bony knobs on each side of the ankle that are called the malleoli which provide stability to the ankle joints, which function as weight-bearing joints for the body to assist in standing and walking. The ankle is then surrounded by ligaments to provide stability. Ligament sprains around the ankle are one of the most common injuries. We also treat an array of injuries to the foot and ankle including:

  • Fractures
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Contusions
  • Achilles Ruptures
  • Shin Splints
  • Lacerations
  • Ligament Sprains
  • Muscle Strains
  • Infections
  • Dislocations/Subluxations
  • Ligament Tears
  • Heel Spurs
  • Tendinitis
  • Plantar Fasciitis

These are to just name a few. If you'd like to come in and be evaluated by one of our physicians call us today at (352) 404-8956 to book an appointment.
